IDEA - International Dialogue for the Evaluation of Allergens

3rd meeting of the IDEA Working Group on the feasibility of a study to assess the effectiveness of QRA

07 December 2017

Under the framework of IDEA, a revised methodlogy on Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA2) has been developped. This revised methodlogy focuses on total exposure of consumers to individual fragrances.

One of the conclusions of the IDEA Annual Review 2015 was the need  to evaluate the feasibility to assess the effectiveness of this revised methodology via the monitoring of clinical data.

A working group, including participants of the QRA Workshops, was created to evaluate the possibilities to define the objectives and discuss on the protocol of such study or studies.

This is the third meeting of the working group, following sessions in February 2017 and April 2016.
